Last weekend was a super fantastic road trip to St Louis for Chris & Me. After working on house projects every weekend since the wedding (at least it seems like it) we were long overdue for a break and thankfully, Shelly & Jeremy had invited us down when they were in town for our big day.

The reason we were invited down…St Louis Brewers Festival! Shelly ordered tickets for us for Saturday afternoon from 12-4 and a quick check showed us that if we arrived in town in time we could catch a baseball game. Luckily, we were able to take Friday off and drive down during the day putting us in town around 4:30pm with plenty of time to make the 7:10pm start.

The Cardinals were hosting the Rockies and it was just about a perfect night for outdoor baseball.

We had fun seats in the bleachers out in center field. The Cardinals weren’t exactly playing good baseball, but we made sure to eat some ballpark food and enjoy some beers while having a blast. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Dennys Reyes come in as a relief pitcher! They’ve got Kyle Lohse on the Cardinals team too but he wasn’t playing Friday night. Weird!

After the game, we had some pizza at a bar and then went impromptu dancing which turned out to be super fun!
