Recently I bought a Cricut machine for my scrapbooking (and the books of my friends who like to scrapbook too!). Anyway, part of the justification of the cost was that I could make my own cards rather than spending $5.00 on a card at Target.

It seems to be easier to purchase cards…but I’m trying to remember to allow time to make some. I purchased a box of blank cards and am learning as I go. Last week I made a card for a friend who is pregnant and was recently put on modified bed rest (no working, but not 100% in bed). It’s simple but I really liked it and wanted to share. Hopefully I’ll be making many more cute, fun cards in the future.
